Something that always hits me hard as a college student is that we are the next generation. I feel college students get pumped when they hear that their opinions matter and that one day we will be the leaders. Middle school students look up to high school students and high school students look up to college students. People sometimes do not think that college students look up to the leaders in our church but we do. We love to be discipled and soak up knowledge about our Savior. We love to learn about stories that we haven't heard from the Bible. Stories that we haven't heard are good too. Like to go deeper in to them and think about them more. The single most important thing that would inspire me to join a young adult ministry at a church would just be the Gospel. I would just want the truth and nothing but the truth which is Jesus. I like to be convicted. Ok let me re-word that lol. I like to know that Christ lives inside of me and i feel that a lot when i'm convicted. Also another thing i look for it missions. Jesus says to go out into the world and make disciples of all nations also he says to feed the fatherless and the poor. So all in all the one thing that is most important to this generation to me is Jesus. And I just want to take up my Cross and follow Him just like Mark 8:34 says. :]
